AWAKEN YOUR INNER KODAMA TO SAVE THE FOREST
Tales of Kunugi is a cooperative casual/family-oriented board game made in wood, challenging dexterity, logic and team spirit from 1 to 4 players.
Play as “Kodama”, the forest spirits, to rejuvenate the old Kunugi oak tree: grow its branches and leaves, and ornate it with Japanese folklore decorations and bird nests. Use your acorns (called donguris) to make special moves, clear special objectives and create a unique Kunugi with your very own hands and souls.

TALES OF KUNUGI RULES, IN A NUTSHELL
Use your strategic thinking and dexterity to grow and garland a sacred tree… while keeping silent to focus on your actions and the actions of your team members.
First and foremost, your group will be randomly assigned common objectives and, for each of you, at least one secret mission. To accomplish your goals and successfully revivify the Kunugi, the group will perform some actions for each season:
♦ In Winter, prepare the twigs and ornaments to be used during the year
♦ In Spring, add twigs to the trunk and branches to make the tree grow
♦ In Summer, garland the Oak with ornaments; it’s festival season!
♦ In Autumn, harvest the donguris. Acorns are needed to strengthen Kodama’s powers and allow them to execute special moves!
After the last season of the fifth year, each Kodama can finally reveal their secret missions and appreciate the beauty of the Oak. What will be the Tale of your Kunugi?
